Bernd Gutberlet has been a “Berliner” for over 30 years and a city guide for over 10 years in Berlin. He also writes books about history and about Berlin — most recently “Berlin in your pocket” (Fischer Verlag). My biggest wish is to convey my own enthusiasm for our beautiful city of Berlin with its wonderful environment and its cultural treasures to our guests. As a trained interpreter for the Spanish language, I am especially looking forward to welcome visitors from Spanish-speaking countries.
As a former East German citizen, it gives me great pleasure, of course, to familiarize the visitors with the pitfalls of the cult car Trabant on the Trabi CITYTOUR — a great idea which leaves our guests always delighted.
Since 2005 I am self-employed as a tour guide in Berlin and Potsdam and since 2006 I am a member of the association “Berlin Guide”.

As a graduate interpreter, I was a full-time tour guide from 1976 – 1992 and then settled down as a freelance interpreter in tourism until today without interruption.
